Signs of Hope

Come Spring and flowers bloom...on the trees, cacti, bushes and spread as a carpet on the ground, . Brilliant in colors, some laden with fragrance. Even when they are past their prime they are beautiful. Seeing this today morning in our neighborhood made me aware, just as nature blooms after winter,

A teaching artist I am working with sent me this picture from her front yard: signs created by her young boys. They have been talking a lot about the important work so many people are doing in this time of isolation. We are all thankful for these people that keep us all going!

On my way home from running someone to the airport I saw the University of Phoenix along I10 illuminated with a blue heart... (My husband was driving!)

Maybe not a sign in the traditional sense, but I ran up to Tom's Thumb for he first time a few weekends ago. Thinking about how long those rocks have been there, and how much longer they'll last beyond any of us, is really a grounding experience. This too shall pass.
