First year medical students held a Ceremony of Appreciation in honor of their willed body donors that they had the opportunity to learn from in the Clinical Anatomy and Nervous System II curricular blocks. Two art and anatomy workshops were held with teaching artist Monica Aissa Martinez where students were given time to create works of art for the ceremony. Following the ceremony, the works were added to the Gratitude exhibit on the 6th floor of the Health Science Education Building, outside the anatomy lab for future students to view.
