The Music and Medicine group hosted music therapist Cindy Steen on Thursday Nov 30, 2023. Cindy runs the Soul to Sole Music Company and shared her experiences about the power of music. Cindy provides music therapy in several patient/client populations such as Substance Recovery Centers, Assisted Living & Memory Care, Arizona Burn Center, and Valleywise Health. She shared several stories about working with hospitalized patients and gave the students great advice on what they can do with music to help patients heal to health.
