Black and White with Drama

Paint the edges of your page with a variety of colors. Be random!

Once dry, place artist’s tape along each side of the page, partially covering the colored areas.

Paint black paint over everything. Use a fairly thick coat, or give it two coats.

Once dry, remove the tape – you now have a black page with a dramatic boarder!

Using white or metallic gel pens, draw or journal on your page. You can also create a collage by add words, images and pretty papers with a glue stick.

Today’s theme: Wholeness and Healing: Think about words and images that signify, symbolize or suggest the following words to you: HEALTH, WHOLENESS, HEALING. Collect these images and words wherever you find them (newspapers, catalogs, magazines, brochures, old books, etc.).Using the words and images you collected, create a collage on your black and white pages.
