Design a postcard that you would send to yourself or to a friend. Where would you like to go? Where have you been? What did you do there? This is a good way to focus on good times and or design something to look forward to!

Choose a word (like “happiness” or any other word that has apositivemeaning to you) and experiment with writing it in different ways. Write with pencil. Write with pen. Write in cursive, and then in manuscript. Write messy and then write neat. This is your starting place! You can look back on this page when you need an idea for lettering.
