The Power of Language

Students visited Phoenix Art Museum in April and participated in five different activities centered on the power of language. Activities included listening then sketching the words that were heard, sketching two perspectives, creating a Haiku, writing clues about an object in the gallery and having other students attempt to find the object using the clues. These activities emphasized the importance of observation, description, communication and specificity in medicine.
